The Queens People
Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Platinum Jubilee in the summer of 2022. I took to the streets of The Mall to capture the atmosphere and enjoyment of everyday people celebrating this historic event.
The Queen passed away on September 8th 2022. Shortly after her death, her coffin remained in Westminster Hall for five days as the first member of the Royal Family to lay in state since The Queen Mother in 2002. I joined the twelve hour queue to witness this event and meet those that felt compelled to pay their own respects.
Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral was held on September 19th 2022. I visited the streets nearby Buckingham Palace one last time to capture and remember those in attendance saying their goodbyes to their Queen.
